We recruit for our client - worlds biggest investment bank.
You effectively manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) globally for Real Estate (RE) lease related payments in conjunction with an outsourced third party vendor.
Pro-actively communicate with internal and external audit teams on ad-hoc basis.
Respond on any control gaps and implementation of new SOX controls such as lessor disclosures.
Become the de-partment SME on MyShop Accounts payable access control and role setting.
Verify and approve rental expenses.
Identify opportunities for automation, innovation and process improvement across all aspects of Financial Management.
Fulfil quarterly lease and sublease disclosure requirements in IFRS and US GAAP.
Develop analytic capability to convert lease admin data into valuable lease ac-counting insights, prepare month-on-month lease accounting handoff to GBSS Finance and be-come their key main point of contact for lease information.
Prepare / Review monthly accural calcula-tions for RE Tax in Switzerland.
Prepare / Review monthly aged debt reporting for 3rd party letting and sublease cash-flow management.
Prepare / Review monthly Income forecast reporting for 3rd party and intercompany sublease to Group Finance.
Participate in Financial Planning.
Reporting and management of FX risk / hedging transactions related to global Real Estate Portfolio.
Become a global subject matter expert on Lease Accounting (IFRS 16).
A degree in a quantitative field e.g. Business, Economics, Accounting
5-8 years proven experience in Finance ideally in Real Estate Finance
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Solid attention to detail and focus on continuous improvement as well as being agile to changing requirements and expectations
Well-developed interpersonal skill-set; must be able to communicate at all levels within the organization
Ability to work quickly and accurately under time pressure and to prioritize deliverables and objectives
Outstanding communication skills. Languages: Fluent English (spoken and written) is essential. German an advantage
